After a successful pilot Achmea has decided to adopt EXIN’s e-CF® Competence Solutions for its entire IT workforce. The solution offered by EXIN provides a combination of e-competence profile reports for IT professionals and an analytics dashboard for management to give strategic e-competence insights. Through the use of the tool Achmea is able to align their training and education program with the current standard of e-competences and the matching role requirements.

EXIN enables Achmea in generating actionable insights to respond to the fast changes in the market and by bringing to light the IT skills gap. Thousands of Achmea employees will now be assessed and dozens of job profiles will be mapped to generate a skill gap analysis.

As part of the 3-month pilot, individual employee reports were generated and different IT job roles were mapped against the e-Competence Framework using EXIN’s e CF® Role Profiler. This will enable Achmea to make data-driven HR decisions like personalizing learning programs.

Achmea is convinced that competence-based development will make them more responsive to the fast changes in the market. Yvo Verbeek, the Program Manager Business School IT at Achmea, in reflection on working with EXIN and the e-CF® Competence Solutions: “One of the biggest challenges was comparing different IT roles and learning programs to identify the right developments paths.
